Grand Objectives
- To have a year round net and match facilities in Pakistan by
providing practice pitches, gymnasium and eventually a cricket ground.
- To manage the academy on professional and commercial lines but with
a no profit-no loss positioning.
- To support the low earning players not having professional job as
active cricketers in accessing proper cricket facilities.
- To channel Pakistan’s teenagers and youth into constructive areas of
mental and physical development.
- To support young cricketers with talent who have not been selected
by national and regional cricket academies.
- To make available standard cricket gear free of cost to the
developing cricketer for easier transition to top class cricket.
- Select budding players from all over Pakistan for training in the
academy.
- To establish RLCA branches in different cities of the country.
- To impart training to coaches and umpires as the academy develops.
10. To provide personal management and development programme to academy
students.
- To have a broad based curriculum incorporating various stages of
development of cricketing skills.
- To inform of approved and updated rules of the ICC with comments
and explanations.
- To close the current gap in skills and cricketing knowledge between
club/first class and international level.
- To imbue the spirit of the game at an early age among academy
students.
- To impart cricket coaching to females, blind and special children
to help develop the game among their segment.
- To provide some level of employment and growth opportunities to
local cricketers and cricket related professions.
- To have the academy recognized at international level within 5
years of start of operations.
- To send one to two emerging cricketers to an Australian or South
African academy.
