Just as we learned a lot from Imran Khan about how best to play cricket, Rashid Latif too has had a role in making many a successful bowler, batsman and fielder. In both domestic and international cricket his sharp observation powers alerted us to an area of improvement; and he would spend his own time with us to work on them. Above all, he was an inspiration to youngsters, primarily because he was so clearly interested in their development as well rounded cricketers.
